Should Belize continue allowing Corruption and Nepotism?

I love my beautiful country Belize. There is certainly a relationship between good governance and development. The standard of living of Belizeans have been decreasing as the years pass by. Why? Its simple, just look at our nightly news, we are bombarded with news of political negligence, corruption, nepotism, etc...Now my question to Belizean, are WE going to continue with this trend that will be passed from generation to generation? I am not taking about the present government in Office but from both PUP and UDP...both parties are responsible to the decreasing standard of living of Belizeans!!! Why the legislator pass laws to punish the misuse of public funds? Well, the election trend have been that is either UDP now then the next general election is PUP...the ministers know that if laws are implemented to punish minister, this same laws will affect them when either political party is in office; hence, both political party fight for being government but not fight to implement laws to reduce corruption or fight for the upliftment of the poor. It would not be a surprise if someday, someone, get tired of this frustration and simply take justice in its own hand against the selected political corrupted public officials. So what can WE Belizeans do to reduce corruption in Belize??????

All the laws are there to prevent corruption in public life. Just dat de buggas weh get een, ignore the laws. We gat case afta case a dis type a crap fran di PUDP. Dem bullshit we fu get een, all kinda pramises, an when dem get een u kian si dem, only who culd gee dem back something den gi to. We po pipple caan gi dem nothing, sho dem hussle affa we, se dem get monney fu po pipple den use it fu dem own purpose. Watch weh di go ahn wid city council. an di Venezuela money weh dem se de save fu we. Watch da who di get di most a it. PUP mi bad denya set badminded.

Corruption is one of the chronic ill of the society something that everyone wants to eradicate. As long as there is a corruption we could never expect for a good governance and progress, because in a corrupt official it would be his self interest that dominate and not the public service. Lets eliminate this mentality such as greediness . Lets all be one toward a clean and progressive country.NATS, the National Air Traffic Services agency, controls the UK airspace and announced that
they will be reopening UK flights as of Tuesday. This is superb news for all those who have been waiting for UK Airspace to reopen since the eruption of the volcano Eyjafjallajoekull
flooded the air with ash, glass, and rock. Air traffic has been halted so long that some individuals have had to go to extreme lengths to keep afloat stranded wherever they were when the volcano erupted. Do not get your hopes up too quick, NATS isn't really opening all airspace just that south of Teesside and Blackpool. Anything north of those could have to wait until further notice to open.
